Spencer Pratt on Track for LA Mayor Showdown With Karen Bass
Los Angeles has hope of escaping liberal rule.
Trump-backed mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt is on track to advance to a runoff election against Karen Bass. Although the reality-star-turned-politician has yet to officially secure a top-two finish in Tuesday’s primary election, he currently sits over eight points above the next closest challenger. Bass is projected to finish in first place, but only by four points.
Pratt is already expressing confidence in his chances of pulling off a November upset, saying he “literally could not be more excited” and that he is “ready for whatever God puts in front of me.”
LA has not elected a Republican mayor since the last century, but years of Democrat-fueled crime and homelessness have pushed the electorate to the brink. Pratt centering his campaign around those key issues has led to his success. Given the state of the city, this story should not strike anyone as that big of a surprise. It is clearly time for change.
