Trump Addresses Congress Tonight. Here’s the Theme.
Donald Trump will address a joint session of Congress tonight, delivering his first major speech since Inauguration Day. The "Renewal of the American Dream" will reportedly be the theme.
According to White House officials, the address will feature four main sections: the administration’s early accomplishments, economic prosperity, border security, and Trump’s plans for peace around the world. Given the past week’s events, the last category may garner the most attention.
Pay attention to how Democrats, at least those who don’t boycott the speech, behave when the president talks about wanting to end the ridiculous wars that started during the Biden administration. Their inevitable refusal to cheer for the idea of concluding the Ukraine conflict will be telling. Years ago, they fearmongered that Trump would start World War III. Now, they hate him for trying to stop it. It’s really quite amazing.
