Judge Indicted for Helping Alleged Woman-Beater Illegal Immigrant Evade ICE
Democrats raged last month when law enforcement arrested Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan. They didn’t care about accusations that Dugan hid illegal immigrant Eduardo Flores-Ruiz from federal law enforcement. That probably made them love her more.
A federal jury indicted Dugan on Tuesday, formally charging her with obstruction and concealing an individual to prevent arrest.
Flores-Ruiz, 30, initially landed in Dugan’s courthouse in mid-April for three misdemeanor charges from a violent fight in March. That’s when she allegedly tried to help him dodge authorities, escorting him and his lawyer out of the back jury door after learning that ICE was hot on his trail. Agents eventually apprehended him anyway.
Dugan is scheduled to enter a plea on Thursday.
