Congresswoman Haley Stevens is running for Senate in Michigan. 

“Who?” you’re probably wondering. 

We understand your confusion. Stevens lacks any name recognition, which will make her bid for a seat in Congress’s upper chamber a big challenge. But she has a solution: get famous trying to impeach RFK Jr.

Stevens formally introduced an article of impeachment against the Health and Human Services Secretary on Wednesday, seeking to oust him from office for the purported high crime or misdemeanor of turning “his back on science.” She described the matter as a “public health and safety issue” during a Tuesday interview.

Stevens’s stunt has no chance of succeeding, but that’s not the point. Targeting Kennedy is her attempt at clout chasing, solely designed to whip up the far-Left base to secure her party’s nomination. Only time will tell if her scheme will work, but in the meantime, she’ll be busy with highly serious and deeply important work in the House. 

“I’m a very serious lawmaker,” she told NBC News. “I get a lot done here.”
