Columbia University Hires Anti-Assange Zealot
We’ve written about Mike Pompeo before, but the shocking nature of his story makes it worth revisiting.
During the first Trump administration, the then-CIA director and his deputies discussed how they might be able to use their power to kidnap Julian Assange from the Embassy of Ecuador in London or maybe even poison him inside. Multiple witnesses heard those exchanges even though at the time, the U.S. government had not charged Assange with any crimes. Pompeo wanted him dead anyway.
We’re pretty sure that’s illegal, but Pompeo has gotten off completely scot-free. On top of that, he remains beloved inside America’s elitist circles, considered some sort of beacon of sanity in the otherwise off-the-deep-end Republican Party. It’s hard to think of anything more backward.
We saw the latest example of the ruling class’s admiration for Pompeo yesterday when Columbia University reportedly hired him to teach a new class. Hopefully he doesn’t try to murder any of his students.
Read more and watch Tucker visit Assange at the infamous Belmarsh prison here.
