When Joe Biden ran for president in 2020, he secretly told donors that “nothing will fundamentally change” during his time in the White House. Based on Donald Trump’s inaugural address, the same cannot be said about the new administration.

The speech offered a scathing rebuke of permanent Washington, decrying its years of destructive leadership as the blame-worthy former presidents sat just feet away. The new commander in chief assured that America “will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer,” while adding that the nation will be “respected” and “admired” again under his rule. 

Trump’s words must have been music to millions of neglected Americans’ ears. Through endless wars, globalist trade deals, open border policies, and more, Presidents Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Biden actively contributed to America’s decades-long self-imposed decline. It was about time someone let them hear about it.
