Ineffective vaccine proponent Justin Trudeau announced his upcoming plans to resign from office on Monday, giving up power as his approval rating continues to nosedive and passing up another four years of working with Donald Trump.

“I intend to resign as Party leader, as prime minister, after the party selects its next leader through a robust, nationwide, competitive process,” Trudeau said during a scripted address. “Last night, I asked the president of the Liberal Party to begin that process.”

The infamous blackface enthusiast also said that his main regret from his time atop the Canadian government is that he wishes he had “been able to change the way we elect our governments in this country so that people could simply choose a second choice, or a third choice on the same ballot.”

Historians will remember Trudeau’s time in office for his efforts to force healthy citizens to take drugs they did not want or need, make suicide easier, condemn his own people for having “unacceptable views,” and depict his political opponents as terrorists. It is revealing that none of those initiatives are his one regret.
