Newly released FEC records reveal that triple-homeowner Bernie Sanders’s campaign spent $230,000 on private jets in 2025’s second quarter alone. The disclosure raises the senator’s year-to-date private-jet expenses above 500 grand, good for over six times the median U.S. household income. 

Sanders used the plane to luxuriously cruise around America for his “Fight the Oligarchy” tour, which strikes us as similar to a gay rights activist cutting donations to the Iranian government or an anti-war advocate secretly being in bed with Lockheed Martin. He’s not exactly practicing what he preaches. 

You know a public figure isn’t genuine when they engage in the precise behavior for which they criticize others. Just like environmental activists destroying the Amazon Rainforest for their self-important climate conference or neocon Ukraine zealots refusing to suit up and fight themselves, Sanders lamenting the wealth gap while soaring around the country in a private jet shows that he holds himself to a different standard than his fellow Americans.
