Donald Trump joined Maria Bartiromo for a sit-down interview over the weekend, his first since authorizing the United States’ bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities. The conversation touched on a diverse spread of issues, including the “big, beautiful bill,” Joe Biden’s autopen, the Federal Reserve, artificial intelligence, the New York mayoral race, and more.

Some of the interview’s most headline-worthy moments came when the president dismissed the notion that Iran hid uranium before America’s B-2 bomber attack, suggested the U.S. is hacking China, and threatened to cut off New York City’s federal funding if it elects Zohran Mamdani as mayor. He called the candidate a “pure communist.”
