Trump Joins Push to Impeach Anti-Deportation Judge
Yesterday’s Morning Note reported on Republican rumblings calling for the impeachment of Judge James Boasberg, who recently stopped the Trump administration from deporting droves of Venezuelan gang members and keeping America safe. Those whispers turned to screams on Tuesday when the president weighed in with his usual “coming in hot” style.
“This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges’ I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social less than an hour after our newsletter hit your inbox. “WE DON’T WANT VICIOUS, VIOLENT, AND DEMENTED CRIMINALS, MANY OF THEM DERANGED MURDERERS, IN OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
He also referred to Boasberg as a “Radical Left Lunatic of a Judge, a troublemaker and agitator who was sadly appointed by Barack Hussein Obama.”
Congressman Brandon Gill formally filed articles of impeachment shortly thereafter.
