Morning Note

Yesterday’s newsletter featured the following quote from an Israeli Defense Forces commander:

“In the current political climate, in the state of Israel, there is no value to any human life that is not Israeli, or better still, Jewish Israeli.”

Our response was simple. Anyone who would say that is sick. No human is inherently more valuable than another because of their genetics. God created everyone in His image. Those who disagree have more in common with Adolf Eichmann than Jesus.

According to Ted Cruz and the ghouls in his creepy identitarian caucus, our takeaway equated to antisemitism. Here’s what he tweeted in response to the Morning Note:

“Tucker is now—literally—calling Jews…Nazis.”

We called Jews Nazis? What? We didn’t say anything about “the Jews.” We never have. All we did was reject Nazi-style thinking that judges people based on their DNA. Apparently that’s bigoted? Are you serious? Why would you lie, Senator Cruz?
