Jasmine Crockett Said Jeffrey Epstein Funded Lee Zeldin. She Got the Wrong Jeffrey Epstein.
Jasmine Crockett thought she had a big story.
“We gonna expose it all!” she bragged on Tuesday while accusing EPA chief Lee Zeldin of accepting campaign donations from Jeffrey Epstein. It turns out she didn’t have the smoking gun she thought.
Zeldin quickly responded to the congresswoman’s claim by explaining that someone with the name “Jeffrey Epstein,” but not the infamous sex criminal, was the person who cut him a campaign check. Crockett had the wrong Epstein.
FEC records show that Dr. Jeffrey Epstein of Manhasset, New York, donated a total of $1,000 to Zeldin in April and August 2020. Another Jeffrey Epstein, this one the owner of a New Brunswick beverage distribution company, chipped in $600 in February of the same year.
The Jeffrey Epstein that Crockett thought she was talking about died six months earlier. Whoops.
