Bible Sales Soar Since Charlie Kirk’s Assassination
Bible sales skyrocketed by 36% in September compared to the same month in 2024, according to data from the publishing sales tracker Circana BookScan. Charlie Kirk’s death fueled the surge.
Sales of the Holy Book averaged around 1.5 million units per month before September but reached 2.4 million after the assassination. Purchases from young people, the group on which Charlie centered his focus, rose immediately following his death.
These numbers are far from the only sign of America’s religious revival. Church attendance has also spiked over the past month, and Gen Z adults are attending worship more than any other generation.
