Biden Reveals Hate for Constituents, Calls Trump Voters “Garbage”
Joe Biden attacked tens of millions of Americans on Tuesday, calling Donald Trump’s supporters “garbage” during a virtual Harris campaign call.
"The only garbage I see floating out there is [Trump’s] supporters," Biden said as his former running mate simultaneously delivered remarks calling for national unity ahead of next week’s election.
Biden’s comment is reminiscent of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 remark that “you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables.”
Trump’s July Republican National Convention address opened with a promise to be a “president for all of America, not half of America.”
