If you celebrate Mother’s Day, you’re a bigot.

That’s Tony Evers’ apparent belief. The Wisconsin governor is backing a state budget proposal that replaces the word “mother” with “inseminated person.” 

The bill recommends the term “biological father” be replaced with “natural parent;” “husband” with “spouse;” “male” with “person;” and of course, “mother” with “inseminated person” or “person inseminated.”

This is not Evers’ first embrace of maddening Left-wing culture warring. He vetoed a bill barring biological men from competing in women’s sports just last year. 

He will be up for reelection in 2026. It would probably be in his interest to refrain from pursuing another term.
